Aug 7th	Branford To Hamburg Cove, CT	Departed Bruce and Johnson Marina at 6:00 Am wind was from the sw at <6 knots We arrived at Hamburg Cove at 12:20 Pm. Mike and Carol of Star Chaser had reserved a mooring for us. Hamburg Cove is a Cove located on the Connecticut River just north of Essex. It is a very norrow channel and a very protected spot.
Aug 8th	Hamburg Cove To Branford, CT	Departed Hamburg Cove at 2:00 Pm wind was from the W at 10-15 knots We arrived Back at Hamburg Cove at 4:30 Pm. After sailing down the CT river to Saybrook to see that the waves and wind was bad we decided to sail back up to Hamburg Cove to Sail back on Monday
Aug 9th	Hamburg Cove To Branford, CT	Departed Hamburg Cove at 6:00 Am wind was from the NW at 10-15 knots We arrived at Branford at 12:30 Pm. The wind was gusting to 28 Knots and about 40 degrees off the starboard. It was a pleasent to trying sail.
